The images of Narasimha are quite rare.
In this incarnation of Vishnu is depicted with the face of a lion and half man accompanied by his consort Lakshmi.
Around your knees crossed is the band 'Yogi' used in meditation, then Yogi Lakshminarasimha.
Narasimha is sitting on a pedestal surrounded by the body of a Naga.
Originally the iconography Hindu Naga is developed to show the 5 or 7 heads above the head of Narashimha.
It is a very special piece and rare.
